The blessed month of Ramadan has finally bestowed upon us, and it's a time to

rejoice, reflect and renew our faith. Ramadan is not just about abstaining from food

and drink, but it is a spiritual journey that helps us to purify our soul, seek forgiveness,

and strengthen our relationship with Allah.

As Muslims, we believe that Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed, and it's a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the standard to distinguish between right and wrong. It's a time for us to reflect on the teachings of the Quran and apply them in our daily lives.

Moreover, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,

Actions are according to intentions, and everyone will get what was intended.

This means that anything we do in this life can be deemed an act of worship by simply making an intention to do it for the sake of Allah.

So, during this month, let us make our intentions pure and sincere and strive to do everything for the sake of Allah.

We should also take care of our physical health during this month. Sleep, exercise, and eat well with the intention to restore the body that Allah has blessed us with.

By taking care of our physical health, we can better focus on our spiritual well-being and achieve a greater level of closeness to Allah.

Similarly, our words are powerful, and we should speak for the sake of saying good things and increasing the goodness of our scales on the Day of Judgment.

Let us also give sincerely for the sake of receiving more from the All Provider and marry with the intention of fulfilling an important Sunnah and securing Paradise with our beloved.

As believers and travellers of this dunya, it is essential to always question why we do what we do, given that we have been blessed with enough intellect.

We must not do things to flaunt our status for the sake of others. Instead, we should perform small

acts of kindness done sincerely from the heart, regardless of whether or not they

have worldly gain. These acts shall indeed be rewarded by Allah.

Let us make the most of this blessed month of Ramadan and strive to become better

Muslims by nurturing our souls, purifying our intentions, and doing everything for the sake of Allah.

May Allah reward us and keep us sincere. Ameen.
